Huge thank you to City Hope Church and BCL volunteers who came out today; getting the building ready for this month’s homeless community “Stand Down” Friday June 16th from 9 to 12. The outside crew was amazing, they cleared out weeds & shrubs that were growing out of control around the entire building & parking lot. Also, the roof had been leaking in several areas & was repaired. Food pantry & hygiene items were fully stocked; donations were from Give A Ruck fundraiser:) We are so blessed to have some incredible, energetic volunteers as well as some skilled folks (such as painter, roofer, and electrician).Anyone who would like to be added as a volunteer on our general volunteer Facebook messenger list, let us know.
